Flick
5 years • unknown • Male
♥️♥️ FLICK ♥️♥️ AVAILABLE TO ADOPT Four years. Four years of watching other dogs arrive, settle, find their families and walk out of the home with their happily ever after. And Flick is still here. He is now 5 years old, and although he isn’t the easiest dog, we really believe his story shouldn’t end with him spending his whole life in rescue. Flick is a very fearful boy when faced with new things. His fear can make him bark and, to someone who doesn’t know him, he can appear aggressive. But that isn’t the Flick we know. Because once Flick knows you… once he trusts you… you see a completely different dog. ❤️ He’s affectionate. He’s cuddly. He loves attention. And he absolutely loves giving Flick hugs and kisses. 🥹❤️ As he has got older, we’ve seen his fears start to settle, and we honestly believe that underneath all those nerves is a boy who is desperate for his chance. A chance to leave the kennels. A chance to have his own sofa. A chance to wake up every morning knowing that he belongs to someone. A chance to finally prove that he can be someone’s very special boy. But Flick won’t be a dog you meet once and take home. He needs someone who understands that trust takes time. We would want his future family to come and meet him several times, building that relationship slowly and allowing Flick to get to know them at his own pace. Then, when he’s ready, we would work with his family to make the transition into a home as gradual and supported as possible. We will be there every step of the way. ❤️ And we can promise you something… All the time, patience and effort you put into Flick will be repaid in the best possible currency: Flick cuddles. Flick hugs. Flick kisses. And the knowledge that you gave a dog who had waited four years the chance he had almost given up on. 🥹❤️ Flick needs: 🐾 An adult-only home 🐾 No cats 🐾 To be the only dog 🐾 A relatively quiet home 🐾 Not too many visitors coming and going 🐾 Someone patient and understanding 🐾 Someone willing to visit him multiple times and build his trust Flick is neutered, vaccinated and ready to start looking for the person who is willing to see beyond his fear. Adoption fee: £425 Homecheck applies If you think you could be the person who finally gives Flick his chance, please complete our application form: Four years is far too long for any dog to wait. Maybe it’s finally Flick’s turn. ❤️🐾

Lennox
5 years • Unknown • Male
Meet our very special boy, Lennox 🐾 Lennox is a little bit quirky, a little bit bossy, and a whole lot lovable. ❤️ He has dodgy hips, dry eyes and a few other little quirks, so he isn’t your typical dog. But despite everything he has going on, Lennox has the sweetest side once he learns to trust you. When he does, he is an affectionate boy who will happily keep you company — and he certainly knows how to make us laugh every single day! 🥰 Lennox loves his routine and his home comforts. He isn’t particularly keen on walks, so he would be perfect for someone who isn’t looking for a dog to go on long adventures, but instead wants a lovely companion to share their home and garden with. 🏡 His ideal home would have: 🐾 A large, secure garden where he can potter around and enjoy himself 🐾 Someone who enjoys having a canine companion around 🐾 Another female dog of a similar medium size would be ideal 🐾 Children aged 8+, as he hasn’t lived with children before 🐾 No cats, as Lennox isn’t a fan! Lennox can live with other dogs, although he can be a little bossy at times — he definitely likes to think he is in charge! 😂 We aren’t looking for a temporary placement for Lennox. We want to find him a loving, stable long-term foster home where he can settle into a routine, feel safe and secure, and simply enjoy being Lennox. ❤️ He may have a few more needs than some dogs, but he has so much love and personality to give in return.

Lewis
5 years • To confirm • Male
Lewis is described in a visible September Facebook post as a gentle soul looking for a quiet home.

Spud
5 years • Frenchie • Male
This handsome boy is Spud, and what a great boy he is! ❤️ Spud is around 5 years old and is a typical fun-loving Frenchie. He absolutely loves to play and has plenty of personality! He is happy around other dogs when out and about, but in a home environment he can get a little over-excited and doesn’t always understand when another dog has had enough of playing. 😂 Because of this, we feel he would be happiest as the only dog, or potentially with a very tolerant, playful dog who enjoys the same things he does. 🎾 Spud LOVES toys and will happily chase his ball for as long as you’re willing to throw it! 🏡 Spud is looking for: • An experienced home • Preferably as the only dog • No cats • Children over 12 • Someone who will keep him active and entertained Spud is fully vaccinated and comes with our full rescue back-up (RBU).
